LONDON: England fast-bowler James Anderson has called on the International Cricket Council (ICC) to do more to preserve the future of Test cricket. The ICC raised concerns last week after delaying the Test Championship until at least 2017. Anderson is worried by the growing prevalence of the shorter form of the game, believing Test cricket is starting to suffer. “We play a lot of limited-overs cricket,” he said. “The ICC has a big responsibility towards Test cricket. There are concerns because around the world and attendances are dwindling and it’s disappointing.”
