Sui landmine blast kills 2 security personnel, injures 3

SUI: Two security personnel died while three sustained injuries when a landmine exploded in the Jani Bheri area near Sui on Saturday.

Security personnel were patrolling when their car hit the landmine, resulting in the explosion.

The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital, while no one yet has claimed responsibility for the incident.

Earlier, a Frontier Corps official was killed in a landmine explosion near Sorange coalmine field in the suburbs of Balochistan’s capital Quetta.

Banned militant outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack and a spokesperson, who introduced himself as Merak Baloch, vowed more of similar attacks.

Local activists and Taliban militants have been active in the province and have been blamed for such violence in the past.

We, the Baloch, are with Pakistan and FC. In sha Allah, terrorism will be eliminated from Balochistan.
