Increasing trade: Italy to speed up visa process

MULTAN: Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Venchenzo Prati on Friday promised to speed up visa processing to Pakistani industrialists and businessmen without any delay for the promotion of trade between the two countries. Addressing a gathering of industrialists at Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), he said that delay in issuance of visas reduces volume of bilateral trade and causes loss to both the countries. He said the Italian fashion industry was one of the best and Italy would participate in the fashion shows in Lahore and other big cities. Prati invited the Pakistani businessmen and industrialists to enhance bilateral trade in fashion and textile sector. Pakistani women business entrepreneurs should visit Italy to establish business relations with Italian fashion and textile industry, he said.
