Keenjhar lake: Land not allotted for resort project

KARACHI: The 750-acre spread for the Keenjhar Lake Resort Development Project has not been allotted to any private organisation while the selection of a private partner is still pending, said the minister for tourism, Muhammad Ali Malkani. He said on Friday during the Sindh Assembly session that the issue of the allotment of the land was being processed by the Board of Revenue. Malkani said that total 4, 67,927 local and foreign visitors were facilitated by his department in 2010, and that a majority of them visited Keenjhar Lake Resort.
