North Waziristan: Drone strike kills seven suspected militants
A US drone attack on Thursday killed seven suspected militants in North Waziristan.
Five missiles were fired at a house in the Razmak area of the tribal region near the Afghan border, initial reports revealed.
The strike came a day after 16 people, including two fighters of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), were killed in South Waziristan in the deadliest US drone strike in three months.
The CIA, the American spy agency, operates a covert drone programme to target suspected militants in countries like Pakistan. It is possibly the United States’ worst-kept secret even though it has opened up a debate about the legality of international state-sponsored killing of its adversaries.
The US is essentially deploying aerial robots to wage a war along the inaccessible border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The drones conduct intelligence and reconnaissance missions and fire missiles at the enemy.
Drone “pilots” at the CIA headquarters in Virginia move joy sticks around as they watch live video feeds of militants entering compounds, moving along winding mountain roads or planting bombs in northwest Pakistan. US officials have described drones as ‘a very effective tool’ for eliminating high-value enemies in northwest Pakistan.

@ Ali: America may face defeat but then you may not have a country to live in. Long before America faces the prospect of defeat you and I may not survive to see it, and probaly wont even qualify for Shahadat
It's very sad that Americans are killing Innocent muslims in waziristan area and they are considering it a good achivement.Americans are coward because have have lost this 10 years war and they are afraid of Taliban that's why they are using these drone attacks in which there is no loss of life.I pray to GOD make us strong that we can fight with our enemies.(Ameen)
It seems Pentagon and GHQ have sorted their differences, that's why the increase in no of attacks.

They r rarely civilians, drones r very accurate, mostly militants r killed n thats a very good thing. Btw, the PAF chief in a speech said airforce has done 5500 bombing missions in FATA since the war on terror. If that is ok then why drones r bad which r more accurate ? And stop calling those who die in it 'innocent civilians' and 'shaheed'.

Now will come the reaction of Imran khan and lovers. apparently blood of people killed by drones is thicker than those who killed by terrorists attacks of Talibans. Having said that killing of innocent people any where and by any killer is shame for all humanity
