KU declares 14 degrees as genuine

The University of Karachi has declared the degrees of 14 parliamentarians as genuine.

KARACHI: The University of Karachi has declared the degrees of 14 parliamentarians as genuine.

These include PPP Leaders Faisal Raza Abidi, Agha Siraj Durani and Safdar Ali Abbassi and MQM Leaders Khush Bakht Shujaat and Haider Abbas Rizvi.

Speaking to the media in Karachi, the university's Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Nasiruddin Khan, said that Sindh's MPA Shama Arif's educational record has been found but is still being verified.

However, he added that the educational record of Balochistan's MNA Muhammad Khan Toor remains missing.
