Sororicide: Minor sister shot for refusing proposal

Brother killed minor sister aged 10, after she refused to marry according to his will and tried running away from home

SIALKOT: A young man shot and killed his sister over a domestic dispute on Tuesday. According to police officials, Sallowal village Sabzpeer resident Faisal shot dead and killed his minor sister Faiza, 10, after she refused to marry according to his will and tried running away from home. The accused fled the scene and police officials have shifted Faiza’s body to the Pasrur THQ Civil Hospital for an autopsy. A neighbour told police that Faisal was trying to settle an old dispute by giving his sister in marriage but she had tried to run away on several occasions. Police officials have registered a case and are searching for the accused.
