PESHAWAR: Security forces launched an operation against militant hideouts and killed 16 militants while 12 sustained injuries in Upper Orakzai Agency of the tribal belt.

Officials said security forces proceeded towards Dabori, Gokamar and Shadala area and targeted six hideouts after which militants started to escape from the area.

Officials added that the operation will be continued until peace is restored in the area.

“We have been chasing militants and continue it until we eliminate them and bring back peace to the once peaceful area,” officials said.

Earlier, security forces captured a Swat Taliban commander Hazrat Bilal and his accomplice from Mardan who had earlier escaped a military offensive in 2009.

    Dear “studyvalue”

Are you still heading towards conspiracy theories, while ignoring facts pertaining to these ongoing acts of terror in Pakistan? Is it not enough that time after time, we find these same militants claiming responsibility for their misdeeds? While it may just be convenient to point the finger towards the US, remember that we have also lost many lives fighting these same militants. We know what it feels like to lose thousands of innocent lives to inhumane acts of terror.

These militants have been fully focused on destabilizing the region, and the recent cross border attacks once again signify the importance of our cooperation. Both nations wish to see the region free and clear of terrorism. Both nations realize that these terrorists will not stop unless we continue to tighten the grip around their necks. The US fully supports Pakistan in its fight against insurgency and wishes stability in Pakistan for the sake of stabilizing the region. And vice versa, Pakistan wishes a safe and stable Afghanistan for the sake of preventing safe havens on its land. Those who still feel that there is a conspiracy theory brewing behind the scenes are simply failing to acknowledge the truth, and meanwhile, these terrorists are carrying forward their dark and evil agenda full throttle.

These militants are only good in Fata and other tribal areas. We will beat them back to stone age if they come in Lahore.

we were living happily, were growing further with each passing day.
Why Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was assassinated.

    Why Saddam Hussain??
Dont you know who s behind the killing of all these three mentioned above???
plz, dont pretend to be a child.
People were not against the US but the US, has infact done it herself to turn people against her.
    Answer my one question,
Why Mujahidin during the Soviet War are now being portrayed as terrorists…???
