In an incident of domestic violence, the in-laws of a young woman strangled her to death in the Makki Nagar area of Sheikhpura, Express 24/7 reported on Monday.
According to sources, the victim's husband Tariq Mehmood, father-in-law Mohammad Talib and relative Asif Mehmood strangled Shumaila on Saturday.
The residents of the area said that Shumaila had a troubled relationship with her husband as they would argue frequently.
Police arrested the accused Mohamad Talib and Asif Mehmood. However, the police are still searching for her husband Tariq.
A case has also been registered in the Farooqabad police station, while the body has been sent for an autopsy.
