MULTAN: Cyclist AD Abdul Khaliq, who traveled across the country on his bicycle, says that if the government supports him he would like to travel around the world. While leaving for Faisalabad, Khaliq told reporters at the Multan Press Club that he had traveled from Multan to DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Lahore, Chakwal, Fort Derawar, Taunsa Barrage and Karachi. Khaliq said he belonged to a poor family and was an electrical engineering student at the Government Technology College in Multan. Khaliq said that three years ago his father lost his hand while cutting fodder and he had to discontinue his education. “I hope that the government will give me financial support to cycle around the world,” he said.
