Imran Khan warns of countrywide protests if elections rigged
Addressing a press conference after a party meeting in Islamabad, Khan stressed the importance of an independent election commission and announced that his party will also file an application in the Supreme Court for the voters’ registration to be done on the basis of the NADRA identity cards.
He also said that PTI will file a petition in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate the rental power contract given to Karkey Karadeniz earlier this year.

Khan added that his party had set up a scrutiny committee to investigate politicians' undisclosed assets.
He also announced that his party’s next political gathering would be in Karachi, which would be even bigger than the one staged in Lahore.

The judgemets delivered by judiciary in recent past in Pakistan indicating the fact that it is intending to facilitate the Talibanization of Pakkstan and it is against the present glvernment . In the given circumstances , any election dispute resolved by election commission if challenged in the court , the dicision of the court will be not acceptable to the looser and then the only option will be the ARMY . The role of MQM and Mush combine will be crucial for both tne PPP and PTI .

I took part in Musharraf's referendum. to beat the rush I went to polling station in Lahore Defence. I presented my National ID card. but I was told no need of ID card take this slip. I was the first one to cost my vote.But the box was already full .

@A.Abbas , The conditions in Pakistan is not governed by Paktstanees alone , I think you might be aware of this fact and hence in the given circumstances power balance at the center is a must between external and internal factors . The options for Imran to form an alliance are very limited . For a stable govt. and to keep the Jehadee away from Islamabad the team of Mush is a must . Mush will divert them at LOC to be sloughtered by Indian forces as he did at Kargil . It is only then Imran will get time to implement his patriotic feelings otherwise will get entangled in the mess .
P T I has announced that free and fair elections will not be possible if Mr Zardari remains in the president house, that means Imran Khan wants that President Zardari should be removed from his office before incomming elections. His removal is possible if he resigns himself or is impeached through procedure provided in the Constitution, any other means will create chaos and anarchy. The Election Commission under Article 219 of the constitution, has sole authority to prepare the electoral lists without any interference from any Quarter whatsoever. The Supreme Court most probably, will not entertain any petition under its original jurisdiction, the subject, it appears, is not included in Article 184 of the constitution.

@Taimoor: well Taimoor i said what i witnessed myself...i felt betrayed everytime when i trust Imran khan...i trusted him on Musharaf's NRO....on APDM....on Altaf hussain...i was like he is the real man coz he made huge claims that he will bring back altaf back as handcuffed....where are all his emtional committments??now he is ready to make alliance with musharaf...calling altaf hussain on phone for alliance....now he is only desperate to be in power....i left PTI as Imran's irrational approach towards issues doesnt make sense to me.....he cannot lead a nation...he is confused....he dont know which way to go and how to go.

The question is why wernt NADRA cards used in the first place. Thats why they are here in the first place. If i cant open a bank account or submit any application without a valid NADRA card why am i allowed to vote without one?

@ Dr AK Tewari: What about Mushraf and MQM rule from 1999 - date.Most of running Pakistan Govt are still people groomed by Musharif himself except Zardari.Just see General Kyani, Shujah Pasha , Shujaat Hussian, Pervaiz Elahi, Moonis Elahi.
Attracting a bigger crowd in karachi than Lahore would be a huge challenge.
