Raping a child

BASEL, SWITZERLAND: This is with reference to your report “Who would rape a 4-year-old?” (July 19). To all those who are bashing Pakistan, please realise that an act by an individual is not a reflection on the whole society. It is a crime of the most disgusting nature. Also please realise that whether they are older or younger children, they cannot be stopped from having fun outdoors.

Please stop making remarks like “who sends out their young kids on their own”. And lastly, what can I write about the police, everyone knows where there priorities are. The poor, ie the masses, don’t feature high on their list.
