Healthy Progress: Rs4.25b released for hospitals
The provincial government has started a project to upgrade all social security hospitals in Punjab.

The provincial government has started a project to upgrade all social security hospitals in Punjab. According to a provincial government spokesperson, a total of Rs 4.25 billion has been reserved for this project, to provide advanced and improved medical care to registered industrial workers and labourers. According to official, the government has also provided special funds of Rs 1.14 billion for providing medicines and other laboratory facilities in all the dispensaries across the province.
