Rain breaks heat spell in Lahore

The monsoon rains finally remerged breaking the heat spell in Lahore.

LAHORE: The monsoon rains finally remerged breaking the heat spell in Lahore.

Dark clouds hovered over the city and spawned showers in the early hours of the morning. Heavy rains also lashed Rawalpindi and Islamabad last night .

The Met office predicted more rain for the next 24 hours in Lahore, Gujranwala and Sargodha. People from across the city could be seen leaving their houses to enjoy the sudden change in weather.

55 mililitres of rain has been recored at the Lahore airport, 32 mililitres at jail road and 91 mililitres in Rawalpindi.
