Veena offered Rs45m for appearance, marriage on Indian TV

Celebrity Veena Malik has been offered Indian Rs15 million -- over and above a Rs30 million contract -- to get married on-screen to the winner of the Indian reality TV show “Swayamvar,” the Times of India (TOI) reported on Thursday.

The amount is in addition to an initial offer of Rs30 million for Malik to feature on the show.

TOI reported that, “the television channel has drawn up two contracts for Veena. If she walks off without an actual marriage with one of the prospective grooms from the show, she will get only Rs3 crore.”

The TOI report stated that “Malik said she was not allowed to speak about the Rs 4.5 crore contract.”

During Malik’s last visit to India back in January, she informed the Indian media that she wants to be “India ki bahu”. While she was busy rehearsing for the grand finale of reality show “Bigg Boss” in January, the actor managed to reveal her fascination with Indian men.

The actor, who made headlines for her ‘close association’ with Ashmit Patel in a reality show, said, “Mujhe ab rishta chahiye. I feel Indian men are wow!”

Let the female enjoy her freedom. It is her life. Why don't we make a noise against lawlessness? We don't care. Now everybody is jealous of her money! Concentrate on important Issues that are eating into meat of the society. Stand up against status quo. Support land reforms let Pakistan change positively. And please move away from extremism and terrorism. And lobby for law and order. Ensure no body should be able to buy stolen goods. Cell snatching will stop.

@meena khan:

No offence meena but probably that is the only reason why our society is moving towards a complete social and moral chaos because women like Veena Malik are termed as 'role model for all Pakistani girls.' It cant even be termed as funny, instead it is pathetic and sad. i believe Pakistan has plenty of other women making us proud in every walk of life..even in media...i seriously feel pity for Veena for selling herself so cheap!

and yes shokat we unfortunately have a lot of time to waste on Veena Malik!
