Disaster Management: Met office workshop today

HYDERABAD: A day-long workshop on how the media can disseminate early warnings on floods and droughts is being organised today by the meteorological department, World Food Programme and Sustainable Land Management Project.

The workshop is aimed at developing a network for the early spread of information about natural calamities.
