Weather forecast: Temperature to fall across country

ISLAMABAD: A westerly weather system affecting upper parts of the country is likely to persist during the next three days and cause a three to four degrees Celsius fall in temperature till November 4, Chief Meteorologist Ghulam Rasul said.

Cold winds from northern parts of the country are expected to increase chill in the air. However, scattered rains may occur in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Hazara, Peshawar and Malakand divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from Wednesday night, he said.

Strong gusty winds are expected in Karachi and southern Sindh, as a strong weather system is located at only 200km off Balochistan coast.
