Corporate Governance: Revised code to be implemented in Nov

SECP tasks PICG to finalise proposed revisions to the code of corporate governance.

ISLAMABAD:

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) held a meeting with the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance task force to finalise proposed revisions to the code of corporate governance.

The revised code will be implemented after approval of the SECP in November. The meeting, held at the SECP office in Karachi on Monday was held to finalise the code in consultation with the task force members and in light of recommendations received from different stakeholders.
