A ‘tsunami’ in Lahore

Letter October 31, 2011

ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to you report of October 30 titled “Imran Khan’s ‘tsunami’ sweeps Lahore”.

I was very happy when I saw the crowd that had assembled at the Minar-i-Pakistan on Sunday evening. It meant that there are some people in Pakistan who actually want change and believe that it can be achieved. Of course, those who showed up at the rally and those who saw it on television and will now support Imran Khan need to ensure that they vote in the next election. Or else this support will amount to nothing.
