Guinness Record: Man kicks his way into record books
Patel Gunj resident Ahmed Ameen Bodla set a new Guinness Book record for 225 martial kicks in one minute.

A local resident’s name was recently entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for the highest number of martial kicks in one minute. According to eyewitnesses and an official scorer, Patel Gunj resident Ahmed Ameen Bodla set a new Guinness Book record for 225 martial kicks in one minute. The record has previously been held by an Indian soldier, Sarwar Khatri, with 187 kicks (2007). Khatri’s record was broken in 2008 by a Pakistani soldier, Ahmed Hassan, with 190 kicks, When asked, Bodla expressed his joy at his new record and said that he was extremely grateful to the Guiness staff for the recognition.
