Tragic Ends: 4 killed in ambulance

Four people, including three members of the same family, were killed in an accident

Four people, including three members of the same family, were killed in an accident on Vehari-Mailsi Road on Wednesday morning. According to hospital officials, Nawaz Ellahi came to Bahawal Victoria hospital to inquire after a relative but she suffered a cardiac attack and died.


Upon receiving information, her husband Panah Muhammad, his brother Sultan Ahmad and other relatives left for Bahawalpur in a hired ambulance to shift the deceased to their native town.

The ambulance collided into a coach near adda Hari Chand, while trying to avoid a bull cart.

Four people were killed in the accident including the ambulance driver. Eight others, including five members of the family, the driver of the bull cart and two passengers of the coach were seriously injured.
