Afridi to retire after second Australia test

LONDON: Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi said he would retire from Test cricket following the second Test against Australia at Headingley starting next Wednesday.

He made his announcement to BBC Radio after leading Pakistan to a 150-run defeat in the first Test at Lord's on Friday.

Afridi said he no longer had the temperament for the five-day game after what was his first Test in four years.

But i am afraid of how he kept our team united, others like butt or younis can do or not! Actually the thing is need to change is level of corruption in PCB! Seems that the PSB's expenditures amount is in Ejaz Butt's Tummy :P! Malcolm Speed was right about Him and he should now follow his comments and take the chairperson ship of theaters of Pakistan!
Hassan | 13 years ago | Reply @talha lolx..yah rite he played around 300 ODI's...and made records which no other indian, australian could make in this short period..and thts y he is the best..the very best! and whereas his place in playing X1 is concerned, i think u are again one of them who wants him to perform with bat consistently then noticing tht he was Pakistan's top Bowler in 2007, second best in 2008, And still u question his place in the team :O
