Football: Juve scrape through after scare
Juve should have had the match wrapped up at half-time but led only through a Leonardo Bonucci goal.
ROME:
Juventus held on for a 2-1 victory against Fiorentina in their Serie A fixture, although it was not an entirely convincing performance. Juve should have had the match wrapped up at half-time but led only through a Leonardo Bonucci goal. Fiorentina came storming back in the second period and equalised through Stevan Jovetic but Alessandro Matri grabbed the winner eight minutes later. “We won and we deserved it and of course I’m happy with my goal,” said match-winner Matri.
