Sacrificial Animals: Beauty contest on Friday

FAISALABAD: The 10th annual animal beauty competition will be held at Lal Mills Chowk in the Factory Area of Faisalabad on Friday (October 28). A spokesman of the organising committee said cash prizes worth hundreds of thousands of rupees would be awarded to the owners of the winning animals. He said the competition would include three different categories i.e. bull, goat and ram. He said the owner of the winning bull would get a prize of Rs200,000. The owners of the first and second runner-ups would get Rs100,000 and Rs50,000, respectively, he added. The owner of the winning goat would get a prize of Rs100,000. The first and second runner-ups would get Rs50,000 and Rs25,000, respectively. The owner of the winning ram would get Rs50,000. The first and second runner-ups would get Rs25,000 and Rs15,000, respectively. He said the participants were required to arrive at the site two days ahead of the event.
