NEW DELHI: Karun Chandhok’s dreams of racing in his country’s maiden Formula One Grand Prix did not materialise as Team Lotus decided to go with their regular drivers for this weekend’s Indian Grand Prix. Owner Tony Fernandes said Heikki Kovalainen and Jarno Trulli would be on Sunday duty to ensure the team consolidated their position in the points table. “While I am sure there will be fans in India who want to see Karun race for us on Sunday we had to make the best decision for the future of the team,” said Fernandes.
