Football: United, Zong unveil partnership

KARACHI: Premier League champions Manchester United and telecommunication company Zong have signed a three-year partnership deal to bring exclusive content to the club’s estimated 10 million fans in Pakistan. The announcement was made by Director Advertising and Promotions for Zong Rizwan Akhter in Karachi yesterday. In addition to providing exclusive content for its subscribers, the deal will also facilitate a group of 32 youngsters aged 10 to 18 to participate in a training programme in Manchester next year. The partners also plan to arrange a trip for one fan to meet the United team in the future.
