Murder Investigation: Family stage sit-in outside police office

Protest for not arresting a murder accused and also staged a sit-in outside the district police office DPO.

RAJANPUR: A family protested against the police for not arresting a murder accused and also staged a sit-in outside the district police office (DPO) on Sunday. The rally was led by the deceased Munir Hussain’s father Murid Hussain and his two minor children. The family told reporters that UC Nazim Jehanzeb wanted to grab the deceased’s house, after which he and his four accomplices allegedly killed his son four months ago. Police officials declared the former nazim to be innocent and refused to register a case. DPO Rana Muhammad Ahsan assured that strict action would be taken against the accused.
