Video of the day: The curious case of Awais Lovely

I’m not a psychic but I can predict your immediate facial expressions the moment you start watching one of the many videos released under the name of “Punjabi romantic Sialkot boy Awais Lovely”.

The first few seconds will be of disbelief with your eyebrows raised. Slowly, you will realize the video is for real and then you will smile – either with utter bewilderment or sympathy for the guy.

Awais Lovely, if you are still ignorant of this online phenomenon, is a self obsessed YouTuber who record videos of himself, talking about himself, showing off himself and only himself.

His latest video is named “Teri meri song Awais Lovely a proud desi PUNJABI boy in City Sialkot Pakistan.”

Dressed in a D&G strawberry red tee over black and white checkered pyjamas, Awais in his latest video is at his best. The camera maintains a tight focus on the Sialkot boy who is shown walking around like a model in what seems to be a marriage hall, making victory signs with both his hands and showing off his muscular arms.

Like all his previous videos, this latest one is his yet another attempt to bring himself to peoples’ attention. Like he himself puts it, he makes videos because “I love to share my feelings and myself to the world.”

Word!

Video rating: Two thumbs down! Does anyone really have to ask why?
