Attacked: Lawyer and father shot at in Lea Market
A lawyer identified as 27-year-old Shahzad Qamar Abbas Advocate and his father Muhammad Hanif, 50, were shot.
KARACHI:
A lawyer identified as 27-year-old Shahzad Qamar Abbas Advocate and his father Muhammad Hanif, 50, were shot at by two men on a motorcycle near Tanga Stop in Lea Market on Wednesday evening. They were injured and taken to Civil Hospital Karachi. Abbas was shot in the leg three times while his father was shot in the leg twice. Karachi Bar Association’s (KBA) Adnan Afridi told The Express Tribune that Abbas was a KBA member, had no political affiliation and was mostly representing civil cases.
