Telecom services: Wateen signs $7.9m deal with Roshan

Deal to provide VSAT services in Afghanistan for the next two years.

Wateen Telecom has announced that it has signed a $7.9 million deal with Roshan Telecom, one of Afghanistan’s premier telecom operators, for the provision of VSAT services in Afghanistan for the next two years.


In a press release, Wateen said the deal is not only going to help serve day-to-day communications, but will also spur development of local and satellite-based communications networks. PRESS RELEASE
