Islamabad gas pipeline explodes, 1 dead, 31 injured

A gas pipeline exploded in Karachi Company shopping centre in Islamabad injured 21 people.

ISLAMABAD: A gas pipeline exploded in Karachi Company Shopping centre in Islamabad killing one and injuring 31 people others.

The injured were shifted to PIMS hospital and are currently under treatment.

The explosion occurred in the basement of the centre and as a result several people were trapped inside.

The gas supply had not been cut off yet, due to which the fire was still spreading.
