Rugby: ‘Wales unburdened by expectations’

AUCKLAND: Wales forwards coach Robin McBride tapped into the surge of excitement in the principality before today’s World Cup semi-final against France by lauding the attitude and approach of his young side. “We’ve been unburdened by the weight of expectation,” said McBride. “Experience is an advantage at times but it can also work against you. When you see the blend of youth and experience that we have, definitely youth gains the upper hand with the way they approach games.”
