Hooliganism: College closed after violent protest

Post Graduate College in Dera Ghazi Khan has been closed for an indefinite period after a student protest turned violent and members of a student group attacked college teachers, injuring some. Dozens of members of a student group vandalised college property by pelting stones at the windows of principal’s office. Talking to the media, Principal Prof Najeeb Haider said the college would remain closed until an inquiry was held in the incident and those responsible penalised.
