Section 144: Animal trade in designated places only

DCO prohibited the sale/purchase of sacrificial animals in the city other than the places designated for the purpose

FAISALABAD: District Coordination Officer Naseem Sadiq has prohibited the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals in the city other than the places designated for the purpose, under Section 144. In a statement issued on Thursday, DCO said the government would also crackdown on middlemen. He said strict action would be taken against anyone found selling animals away from the designated points.
