Tennis: Nadal to skip event at Queen’s Club

LONDON: Rafael Nadal will miss next year’s Wimbledon warm-up event at Queen’s Club and will instead play at Halle in Germany. BBC reported that the Spaniard’s switch is linked to tax reasons but also the offer of a large appearance fee in Halle. The Queen’s tournament director said he hoped Nadal would return to the event soon.
