Doctor kills fiancé in act of revenge

She called Waseem at her clinic when there was no patient and shot him six times, killing him on the spot.

Dr Abida Bibi called in her fiancé to exact revenge on him for killing her two brothers. She shot him six times and later surrendered to the police.

The crime was committed in the clinic where she runs a private practice, in the jurisdiction of Ghazi police station on Wednesday.

She told the Ghazi police that she had been running a private clinic in the Mian Dheri Ghazi village for the last two years, where her fiancé Muhammad Waseem was working as a dispenser.

She said that some three months back, her two teenage brothers were killed in separate hit-and-run incidents within a span of ten days.

She said she found out that the incidents were not mere accidents, but had been planned out by her fiancé, who had hired truck drivers to kill the two.

She said that she did not disclose the information to any of her family members, as she had made up her mind to take revenge on Waseem.

On Wednesday afternoon, when she was at her clinic and there was no patient, she called Waseem in her room and shot him six times, killing him on the spot.
