340 suspects arrested during KP search operations

PESHAWAR: At least 340 suspects have been arrested during search operations in several cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday.

The son-in-law of Tehrik-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi Chief Sufi Muhammad is among those who have been arrested. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was also seized in the operation.

The largest number of arrests was made in Kohat where 197 suspects were rounded up, while 47 suspects were arrested in Peshawar, 80 suspects from Nowshera and five from Charsadda.
