Twitter alert: Of cosmetic surgeries & drugs

KARACHI:

Many a time the admiration one feels for a favourite sportsman, musician or actor turns that individual into someone to look up to. Stars know this and often take to dispensing some wise words (or not) to their fans.

Balance is what is important to 53-year-old actor Michelle Pfeiffer who says that she will not rule out cosmetic enhancement in the future, but she is not a fan of plastic surgery being taken too far. “When people don’t look like themselves anymore, that’s when it’s kind of sad,” stated the star as reported by dailymail.co.uk.

Model Naomi Campbell has decided to help out those who have a problem with drugs and spoken out about her personal battle against cocaine. Recently on “CNBC Meets”, Campbell said, “The challenge was to go back and face things I hadn’t dealt with, [it’s] scary for anyone to look at themselves in the mirror and leave that baggage there and move forward.”

Here are some of the top tweets of the past week.

That will be disappointing if Michelle goes down that path. She's a beautiful woman at any age. I understand some light work where you don't even notice it like Vanessa Williams.
