Anti-Encroachment Drive: CDGK reclaims 220 acres of land
CDGK officials recovered land worth around 2.25 billion rupees.
KARACHI:
The city cleared 220 acres of illegally occupied land in Gadap Town as part of its ongoing anti-encroachment campaign on Wednesday evening. According to city district government, Karachi, (CDGK) officials, the recovered land is worth around 2.25 billion rupees. Separately, in an operation in Korangi, Sector 48-C, the anti-encroachment team razed an illegally built structure and recovered land worth Rs15 million. Karachi DCO Roshan Ali Sheikh has ordered officials to speed up the operation and said that it will continue until all illegally occupied land is evacuated and recovered.
