Dengue Diligence: DCO bans transfers

DCO imposed a ban on all transfers and postings in the health department during on-going anti-dengue virus campaign.

KHANEWAL: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Rashid Mehmood has imposed a ban on all transfers and postings in the health department during on-going the anti-dengue virus campaign. According to the DCO office, there will be no transfer or posting in the department until there is official notice from the Punjab Government in this regard. “The orders are being implemented with immediate effect. No one can be transferred until the virus has been contained. Several people have been asking for other postings at this time but we are facing a crisis and this is not the time for administrative shuffling,” he said.
