Football: Malaga win after late drama

MADRID: Malaga scored twice in the last four minutes to beat Getafe 3-2 in La Liga. The home side dominated the first half without creating a clear-cut chance and after the break Pedro Leon put visitors Getafe ahead with an excellent volley. Ruud van Nistelrooy headed Malaga level but Nicolas Miku restored Getafe’s advantage with a controversial header. Malaga appeared to be heading for defeat before Enzo Maresca slotted home in the 88th minute and then two minutes into injury time Baptista acrobatically gave them the three points. Elsewhere, Valencia prevailed 1-0 over Granada, Villarreal drew 2-2 at home to Zaragoza, and Mallorca drew 2-2 away to Osasuna.
