Farm Burglary: Rs0.7m worth of chickens lost

13 men arrived and loaded Rs720,000 worth of chickens into two vehicle while holding the employees at gunpoint.

RAWALPINDI: A poultry farm in Mohary Weeran was looted at gunpoint on Thursday. Tahir, the owner of the poultry farm, lodged a report with the police stating that he was at the farm when 13 men, three of whom were armed, arrived there and loaded Rs720,000 worth of chickens into two vehicle while holding the employees at gunpoint. They also snatched two cell phones and other valuables from the employees before fleeing. The police have registered a case.
