Biloongra is an interesting short story for children. Published by Bookgroup and written by Alezeh Rauf and Asad Mian, this book is about an adventurous day in the life of four siblings: Rayyan, Saad, Hiba and Noori. It talks about their outdoor escapades.
Rayyan, Hiba and Noori make an interesting discovery when they go out to play football, right outside their house. Rayyan kicks the ball so hard that it lands on a tree. When Noori climbs up the tree to fetch the ball, she finds a kitten up there. The three siblings bring the kitten home with them. While Noori gives milk to the kitten, Saad draws a picture of it. The story revolves around the idea of love and friendship among siblings. The book has simple yet engaging illustrations to help its young readers understand the story. The best part about Biloongra is that it is written both in Urdu and English. Parents can easily read it aloud their children.
