Meray Itnay Saray Rung is a book designed by Sami Mustafa and published by Bookgroup. It is especially designed for young readers because it doesn’t contain any writing and only has pictures.
It basically tells children about different types of colours and how colours in our environment affect us on a daily basis; how we think, feel and react to the world around us. For example, red will create the feeling of warmth, determination, love and sometimes anger. In the same way, blue creates a feeling of cleanliness and healing. This book contains many different pictures such as of birds, cars, flowers, butterflies, clothes and fruits because all these objects and living creatures are colourful. There are pictures of many different types of flowers such as white flowers which represent peace and unity and yellow flowers which represent hope and happiness and are given as a token of courage and cheerfulness. Young readers will find the pictures of colourful birds fascinating. This book illustrates the fact that colours are an important part of our lives because life without them would be very depressing and this little piece of work will help young minds distinguish between different hues.
