PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Friday chaired a high-level meeting on the province's persistent electricity loadshedding and later inspected the under-construction Jameel Chowk underpass on Ring Road, underscoring that uninterrupted power supply and smoother traffic flow remain top priorities for the provincial administration.

The meeting, held under the governor's chairmanship, was attended by Chief Secretary Dr Fakhar Alam Irfan, Chief Executive of PESCO Akhtar Hameed Khan, Chief Executive of TESCO Zubair Khan Kundi and other senior officials. Participants briefed the governor in detail on the scale of loadshedding, line losses, recovery of electricity bills and related operational challenges.
