Protective Screenings: Documentary on dengue prevention

KHANEWAL: The district administration will be showing a documentary film on dengue fever at schools and education department offices to spread awareness among students and teachers about the disease. According to executive district officer (EDO- Education) Aizaz Ahmad Khan, the documentary film will be shown at 117 boys high schools and 74 girls high schools through multimedia. The film will also be screened at 22 AEO offices and four DEOs.  Meanwhile, the administration has formed a supervisory team to check the progress of the anti-mosquito spray campaign in government and private schools throughout the district. The documentary will also be screened in public health departments as well as other governemnt officials. District authorities have said that the documentary will also be screened on television and radio broadcasts regarding dengue prevention are also being aired in the district.
