ISLAMABAD:

JI chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has reiterated the party's commitment to protecting democratic values, maintaining peace in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and safeguarding the rights of people across the country.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad to discuss the imposition of governor's rule in K-P, Rehman reviewed the party's future strategy in response to recent federal measures and the province's longstanding security challenges. He said the party had a clear stance on the protection of democratic values, Pakistan's relations with Afghanistan and the restoration of peace in K-P. He also reiterated JI's position that people in all parts of the country should be provided their rights and equal opportunities.
