QUETTA: President of National Party (NP) Dr Abdul Malik refused to participate in the All Parties Conference (APC) in protest against what he described as the discriminatory attitude of the government towards Balochistan. “I have requested President Asif Ali Zardari and the Parliament, time and again, to convene an All Parties Conference over Balochistan’s deteriorating law and order situation, but they turned a deaf ear to our appeal, he said. Malik was addressing a news conference at the Quetta Press Club on Thursday. He complained that the government wasted no time in calling an APC over ‘mere conflicting opinions’ between Pakistan and the US.
