Actor Keegan Allen, known for his role in Pretty Little Liars, has reported being assaulted and robbed at gunpoint outside a grocery store in West Hollywood, California.

According to KTLA, Allen shared an Instagram post on Thursday night, October 8, describing the incident outside Laurel Supply, located in the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.

“I was just a, I was just robbed of my watch outside of Laurel Supply. Can you call the police?” Allen said in the video, appearing bloodied and dazed.

The post included surveillance footage that allegedly showed two suspects wearing black hoodies confronting the actor in a car park.

The footage appeared to show one suspect striking Allen on the head three times with a handgun while he attempted to remove something from his wrist.

“These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me, with a knife, and then took off,” Allen said.

He added, “Had masks on. Took my watch though. Took my watch.”

Allen also expressed concern about safety in the area, writing, “West Hollywood is not safe anymore,” and claiming that the suspects threatened to kill him over the watch.

According to TMZ, paramedics treated Allen at the scene for lacerations, but he was not taken to the hospital.

KTLA reported that it had contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for further information and was awaiting a response. Additional details were expected in a news release later on Friday.

Allen has also appeared in Walker and is recognised by television audiences for portraying Toby Cavanaugh in Pretty Little Liars.

The investigation's status was not confirmed in the supplied report.
