Ike Barinholtz joins Jennifer Aniston, Peter Dinklage and Regina Hall in Universal’s upcoming holiday comedy 'Naughty'

Ike Barinholtz has joined Jennifer Aniston in Universal’s upcoming holiday comedy Naughty, adding to the film’s growing ensemble cast.
Directed by Olivia Wilde, Naughty stars Aniston alongside Peter Dinklage, Regina Hall and Chase Sui Wonders. Jimmy Warden wrote the screenplay from his original spec script.
The film follows Mallory, played by Aniston, a mother who is trying to secure custody of her son from her ex-husband. Her unusual plan involves finding Santa Claus, played by Dinklage, and persuading him to testify at her divorce hearing.
Barinholtz’s role has not been officially confirmed, although sources indicate that he is expected to play Mallory’s ex-husband.
Naughty is being produced by LuckyChap, Wilde and Warden. Universal executives Sara Scott and Jacqueline Garell are overseeing the project for the studio.
The holiday comedy reunites Barinholtz with Wonders, following their work together on Apple TV+’s The Studio, where they appeared alongside Seth Rogen.
Barinholtz is also known for his work as a writer and executive producer on Netflix’s Running Point, which he created with Mindy Kaling and David Stassen. The comedy series stars Kate Hudson.
The actor is also set to portray Elon Musk in Artificial, a science-fiction satire directed by Luca Guadagnino. The film also stars Andrew Garfield and focuses on the events surrounding the development of OpenAI.
Naughty continues to expand its cast as Universal prepares the holiday comedy, with Aniston leading the project and Wilde directing.
